I took a short hiatus from my blog as I focused on my wedding. Now, I am back with healthy recipes coming soon. Just the other night I made a superfood kale recipe with coconut milk and chickpeas. I will post about that one soon…
For now, I will share a small recap of my wedding.
We traveled to Inlet Beach, FL for the most beautiful wedding day a bride could ask for. We really lucked out with the weather. It has been raining in the southeast for quite some time, so I was worried.
To me, the pictures explain it all…
This last one is one of my favorites that my friend took.
We had wonderful food the whole weekend, including this cute plate of hors d’oeuvres from our catering company. We sat at our own little table at the rehearsal so we could share just a few minutes together.
I was planning to run and get some fitness in during the weekend, but I quickly realized I was consumed with family and friends and sharing that time with them, and had no time for a long run. We were active for most of the weekend and swam in the ocean. And, at the end of the day, that is what matters–making sure you put the people and moments in your life first, and don’t get too consumed by perfect nutrition and fitness 🙂
You can’t re-do times like this!! We had an amazing time 🙂
